The tangle under a desk is always worse than the one on top of it, and it is the first thing that shows up in any video call framed slightly too wide. Mounted beneath the desktop, a metal tray takes the whole arrangement out of sight — power strip, adapters, and the slack loops that otherwise pool against the baseboard. Because everything then travels with the desk, a sit-stand frame can cycle up and down without dragging cable across the carpet.
